How to Put on Light Makeup (for Teens)

Step 1 : Hydrate your face. Putting make-up on can sometimes dry out your skin. Dry skin can make make-up look visible and thus less professional. Moisturizers can make your skin smooth, and healthy looking.

Step 2: Brush powder on. This will stick to the moisturizer that covered your face. You can go to a makeup counter at the mall and have a professional makeup artist help you find the right color. Or use foundation and bronzer. A light layer of powder will help contain the liquid concealer or bronzer.

Step 3: Use eye liner. Make a brown thin line beginning from the outer corner of your lash line to the end of it with your eye liner. Do the same for the bottom lid. Be sure to get it close to the edge of your eye for the best definition. But don't poke your eye out!

Step 4:  Lightly apply on eyeshadow. Many different colors of eyes require different colors, you should fit your colors to different colors for different outfits, too (except when you have one good look to complete your face and match everything!). From light blue to deep brown, the safest way to go is with a color matching your skin tone. For the full look- put your medium shade on just your lid, then sweep a darker color across crease, then dust the lightest shade in your inner eye corners and beneath your eye brow. Be careful not to open your eye too wide, you might crease it, leaving an extremely visible mark!

Step 5:  Hydrate your lips. You wouldn't want your lips to go bare and chapped. I prefer you buy a Chapstick Classic to not only give your lips SPF and care but also flavor. Soft Lips are also wonderful, they have yummy flavors and are tinted. Lip Smackers work awesome, too!

Step 6:  Apply lip gloss. Lipsticks are less clear and metallic than this. Put on a clear or light lip gloss to highlight your natural color.

Step 7:  Put on mascara. Wear mascara and curl your eyelashes to make your eyes look bigger and more open.

Step 8:  ALWAYS wash off make up at the end of each day!!!

Makeup is something I love to do.  I feel pretty and fabulous when I have it on.  I love to experiment with different colors and blend everything together.  I am a girly girl so, I enjoy doing this everyday!! :]

♥So girls, do you enjoy & love makeup as much as I do? If so, how do you relate to makeup? ♥

Courage!

Courage Poem

Sometimes life is hard...

Sometimes

© Kristin
Sometimes we see things that aren’t meant to be seen.
Sometimes things aren’t always as they seem.
Sometimes we need someone to call our own,
Especially when we’re alone.
Sometimes people just can’t understand,
Why things get out of hand.
Sometimes life just isn’t fair,
Especially when people just don’t care.
And sometimes it's hard to say,
Why things have to be this way.
Sometimes it’s all you can do to get by,
Especially when dreams continue to die.
Sometimes it’s nice to sit in the rain.
Even to just relieve the pain.
And when we’ve had a really bad day,
Sometimes we just need to get away.
We never know what’s wrong with out pain.
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.

And sometimes when people get hurt,
Even the strongest ones may need comfort.

Gossip! Anyone?

By the title of this post, I have a feeling that many people have just rushed to read it.

Yes, gossiping may be fun but what if you are the target? Have you ever thought about being the one to walk up to a table or room, where everyone is laughing & having fun, & then suddenly there's silence?  Its funny how people are willing to spread rumors about others and have fun while doing it and don't have the heart to stop and think.  Teens these days are gossiping about those that don't 'fit in' and those that don't live up to 'there standards'.  Some think they are funny while others plainly think that they are mean.

If you're the one spreading rumors about someone, think about how you would feel if someone said the same selfish and mean about you. If it would hurt your feelings.  The odds are it would hurt the other person's feelings as well.  Gossiping is a problem for teens and adults alike, and it takes a lot of time and effort to keep yourself from gossiping or to get people around you to stop. It's a worthwhile effort, though, sparing a lot of people bad feelings.

So, Have u ever been a victim or the victim of gossiping? How has this affected your life? :] ♥

We cannot control the evil tongues of others; but a good life enables us to disregard them.
