Gun Crime by Kirsty Palmer

"Bang" there goes another shot
People proving what they've got
Discrimination is the key
Stop the shooting- hear our plea
Too many people are made to die
Gun levels rising extremely high
Violence everywhere- day to day
People trying to run away
Gangs lurking in the street
walking past your heart skips a beat
Scared they may pull out their gun;
then after you- they would run
Three teenagers killed in two weeks
Armed police patrol our streets
A boy of only seven got shot once more
As the bullets rested- he fell to the floor
His mum was crying at his feet
Gun crime rising in this street
Children as young as eight
carry weapons for their 'mate'
An 18 year old got shot in the back;
come on people thats just whack!
Gun crime in london dropped 14% last year
But now it's rising that is clear
15 year old boy found dead at the scene
That boy was barely a teen
Gun crime lurking around the corner
People take this as a waner!

Doesn't this remind you of Belize? It's touching poem and I believe it does relate to Belize and it's crimes.  Crime and gun violence must be stopped!
